The Oak Bay Rec Centre is pleased to announce that they won or were recognized in a number of categories at the Best of the City Awards this past week. Janet Barclay, Manager of Recreation Program Services, attended the awards event and reported that Recreation Oak Bay was voted:
- Best Recreation Centre.
- Second best swimming pool.
- Third best fitness studio.
- Best Romantic Beach and third Best Place to Escape Urban Stress at Willows Beach.
- Second best 9-Hole Golf Course at Henderson Golf.
Congratulations to all the Oak Bay Recreation staff who work to make Recreation Oak Bay one of the best in the region.
