On May 2, 2012, 7:30 PM, at the Oak Bay Rec Centre, the 5th annual Young Exceptional Star (YES) Awards will recognize local Oak Bay school students, grades 6 – 10, nominated for their exceptional achievement. Co-sponsored by the Oak Bay Child and Youth Committee and the Oak Bay Rec Centre, this is a great opportunity for our community to acknowledge the many young people who make a difference to all of us through their commitment and dedication.
